Individual Therapy

Making the decision to engage in individual therapy can be overwhelming. You may be questioning whether your problems can be addressed in therapy. You may have had previous therapy experience in the past that was not particularly helpful. You may wonder what the therapy process looks like and how it can actually help. What you do know is that something in your life does not feel right. Whether you are struggling with feelings of sadness, anxiety, are feeling overwhelmed or are experiencing relationship difficulties, individual therapy may help.

Individual therapy provides you with a time and a space that is dedicated to you and your goals for your life. We work with you to understand you, your experiences and your current emotional state. We work collaboratively with you and tailor therapy to your own individual needs. Our goal is to help you identify what factors are contributing to your current situation and how to move forward. Depending on your needs, therapy may be short-term (10-12 sessions) or longer term. We will continuously assess your progress and your needs
